The four DORA metrics — Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, and Mean Time to Restore (MTTR) — were defined by the DevOps Research and Assessment team and validated in the annual State of DevOps Report. Elite performers deploy on-demand multiple times per day; Low performers deploy monthly or less.
